For those living in India who have had their eyes on the latest flagship smartphone from Nokia, the Nokia N8, the good news is you can now place your pre-order for the aforementioned smartphone, as the Nokia N8 pre-booking website has now gone live.
According to an article over on NokNok by Stephen E, the Nokia N8 pre-order site doesn’t actually display any asking price for the device; however according to Fonearena, customers in India have been putting up 2000 Rupees in advance just for showing an interest in the Nokia N8 so I’m guessing that is a deposit.
Apparently the actual price for the Nokia N8 in India is somewhat of a mystery, but apparently Indian Nokia N8 fans have told NokNok they have been quoted in the region of 25000 to 26000 Rupees, while one fan stated the device could surface somewhere near the 15th of October.
So if you are a Nokia N8 hopeful in India and have paid that up front 2000 Rupees it shouldn’t be too much longer before you can purchase the smartphone.
